Restaurant Brands New Zealand Limited is listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX) under issuer code RBD, and on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) under issuer code RBD.
It is also a constituent company of the NZX 50 Index. The NZX 50 comprises the securities of the top 50 companies listed on the NZSX Market by free float market capitalisation.
The company was listed on 4 June 1997, with a fully subscribed public offer for 85 million shares at an initial list price of $2.20 a share. In March 2000, there was a 1 for 12 taxable bonus issue of 7,080,947 shares. In April 2016 a further 5 million shares were issued in part settlement of the acquisition of QSR Pty Ltd, a KFC franchisee in New South Wales, Australia.
On 23 November 2016, 19,972,101 further shares were issued following a retail entitlement offer to fund the acquisition of Pacific Island Restaurants Inc., the Pizza Hut and Taco Bell stores in Hawaii.
There are currently 124,758,523 shares on issue.
On 27 September 2017 the company dual listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
